About Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan falls on Shravana Purnima. Sisters tie a rakhi on their brothers' wrists and pray for them. Brothers give gifts in return. The rakhi is tied after Bhadra has ended. The preferred time is Aparahna, in the afternoon.
